In a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in Season 17, Kim Kardashian goes about planning the ad campaign for her Skims line - which at the time was a scandal because she opted to call the line "Kimono". That stumble aside, Kim and her creative team come up with the idea to create an infomercial style social media commercial. At the meeting, Kim makes reference to an infomercial and product that her Mom backed. That's right, Kris Jenner long before she was the "Momager" she was an infomercial personality and walked viewers through an interview with the founder of a product called Wicks of Wisdom.
Many people wonder how did the Kardashian Jenner empire got started and how it grew to such well, KARDASHIAN proportions (pun fully intended and self applauded). I have always had a sneaking suspicion that the Kardashian Jenner matriarch was a firm believer in the power of manifestation - just based on how she talks about work, opportunities, visualization, etc. I was intrigued further to learn that the Wicks of Wisdom product was a line of imbued, or energetically intended candles which helped people call in the energetic match to their particular want, need, or desire. Plus, here was Kris Jenner helping to promote and speak about the candles and their properties - and she seemed so at home talking about manifestation, energetics, and the power of universal co-creation.
Of course, I'm a firm believer in the power of manifestation - and I'm completely unapologetic about it. A simple explanation for the candles, should you entertain it (should you not, that's fine too because your belief is your belief), is that the candles operate with the purchaser's intentions. If you believe in and understand the laws of physics regarding vibration...the person purchasing the candle will attach to the belief that the candle has corrected whatever energetic imbalance exists in their lives that is blocking them from their blessing. That belief alone, gets rid of the energetic blocks that are preventing them from manifesting through their own power of co-creation, what it is that they want.
Kris Jenner HAS built an entire multi-armed empire out of her family's interests, antics, and media personalities - so perhaps she knows a thing or two about visualizing an outcome and then taking small incremental actions to make it a reality. I can't find any concrete interviews where she references her belief in candle magic, or anything of the like...but it's pretty compelling that with her entrepreneurial mind she chose to endorse this product in any way and work with a known psychic to sell them. Of course the infomercial is more than a little dated and has the slightly cringe tag line "A prescription for your soul." All things creative direction aside, it's a pretty interesting insight into the early Spirituality brings abundance belief system of the Kardashian Jenner clan.
